Artist W Kyaw Kyaw was born in 1962 in Myitkyina, Kachin State, Myanmar.

In 2005, He completed his study at the High School of Fine Art at Fu-Hsin Trade and Art School, Taiwan; he got his bachelor of fine art degree at the National TaiwanUniversity of Art, Taipei, Taiwan. Between 2017 and 2019, he had several group exhibitions in Yangon, Myanmar; also he had a solo exhibition at Gallery 65 in 2015 in Yangon in Myanmar.

His favorite medium is watercolor and ink.
