Artist Min Wae Aung , a very famous international contemporary artist , was  born in 1960 at  Danubyu , Myanmar. He attended State School Of Fine Art ( Yangon ) in 1982 and he got the best way about fine art paintings from the great master artists U Goon, U Mya Aye , U M.Tin Aye , U Thu Kha , U Kyaw Hlaing , U Ba Swe , U Ba Yin Galay and U Ba Yin Gyi.

Artist Min Wae Aung is a Burma's greatest living artist who is famous worldwide and has possession of famous gallery named "New Treasure Since 1993, he has paid a visit to the USA and had a good encouragement to create the contemporary style paintings by basing his traditional art he leamed seriously at the State School of Fine Art. His encouragement to create contemporary realistic paintings bears fruits to exhibit his unique works in UK on varous occasions as well as International art fair like Tresors and Taipei Art Fair International.

Artist Min Wae Aung  has exhibited his Solo Exhibitions at home and also abroad like Switzerland, Hong Kong, France,  United Kingdom and America. Most of his Solo exhibition are mainly held in London, USA and Switzerland. There are also so many group exhibitions at many countries in both of Asia and also Europe.

His art works are collected by many public collectors and  some records of collections are School Of Oriental and African Studies  Collection  ( London , UK ) , Fukuoka Art Museum ( Japan ) , Singapore Art Museum, Safti Military Institute (Singapore ) , Standard Chartered Bank ( Hong Kong ) , National Museum ( Yangon ) , Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art ( Dallas , USA ) , National Art Galery ( Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia ).

Artist Min Wae Aung is still creating his  strong relationship Burmese cultural and Buddhist philosophical paintings by using  Acrylic medium and sometime, he use watercolour medium to composed of glorious unique paintings at his studio as a fulltime artist .
